Philosophy

In the development stages of our new Xplosive Athlete program now offered at Great Lakes Athletic Club we wanted to offer a program based on our unique training philosophy of developing the overall athleticism of each athlete. Athleticism is a combination of strength, power, coordination, flexibility, balance, agility, reactive ability, and energy system development. The athlete will run faster, jump higher, kick harder, throw further, cut quicker and hit harder if these attributes are properly addressed. Our program is not designed to make a person a better football or basketball player - but rather make them a better athlete.
