“Let’s face it – losing weight is a challenge.
We accumulate pounds over weeks, months, and years, but want them gone ASAP.
Although I only had about ten pesky pounds to lose, I just couldn’t shake them (though my uncomfortably-tight fitting clothes reminded me every day that I needed to).
I knew that GLAC was offering the HMR program, so I thought, why not try it?
And after five short weeks—success! I consistently lost two pounds a week following HMR’s Healthy Solutions® program.
A few specific things I liked about HMR were:
- Their 3-2-5 System was easy to follow (ask about this!)—food prep took very little time and the HMR entrées offer a lot of variety.
- I loved their don’t-go-hungry theory—I never felt deprived and I ate way more fruits and vegetables than usual.
- Not only did I lose the weight I wanted, I learned about why I couldn’t lose it before. The Healthy Solutions® program taught me about my eating downfalls and how to safeguard against bad eating.
In addition to following the Healthy Solutions® diet, I took a daily multivitamin, drank at least eight or nine glasses of water each day, tried to get at least seven hours of sleep per night, and exercised their recommended minimum of 2000 calories per week.
Having transitioned to Phase 2 for about two months now, I’m happy to say my weight has remained stable—those extra pounds are still gone! It’s not magic, I still have to be cognizant of my diet and exercise, but the diet works.
